Services We Offer
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a profession that strives to promote health and well-being through participating in the activities of everyday life. Occupational therapists achieve this outcome by enhancing the individual’s ability to participate by adapting the activity, the environment, and/or the person.
In both the pediatric and adult populations our programs look to evaluate the performance skills of each individual and help them to develop the fine and gross motor, sensory processing and cognitive skills that are necessary for activities of daily living. Our therapists are specialized in the treatment and management of infants through geriatrics with a variety of congenital, developmental, neuromuscular, skeletal, or acquired disorders/diseases.
Occupational therapy gives people the skills for the job of living necessary for living life to the fullest.
Speech-Language Pathology
In all populations, Speech-Language Pathology is a profession that addresses people’s speech production, vocal production, swallowing difficulties and language needs through speech therapy. Speech therapy looks at communication as it includes speech (articulation, intonation, rate, intensity, voice, resonance, fluency), language (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics), both receptive and expressive language (including reading & writing), and non-verbal communication such as facial expression, gesture and eye contact.
